The production process begins with the analysis of the feasibility of requests that come from the market. Once a request has been accepted and the costs and execution times defined, a price and time of delivery of the products are proposed to the client. In the case of products whose consumption is cyclical, after the first supply, it will be possible to bypass the phase of feasibility analysis and move forward to the phase of economic-logistic alignment, communicating any variations with respect to previous supplies. Once a proposal has been accepted by the client, the sales order is added to the system, therefore generating a work order and the immediate beginning of production.
Once the sales order has been inserted, the technical documentation provided by the client is carefully analyzed and, if necessary, it is integrated or re-processed in order to generate the technical documentation necessary for the production of the product. In the event that an order necessitates productions that require type-approvals, such as pressure devices, in parallel with the technical-planning management, we will continue with management dedicated to this purpose, coordinating specific activities of traceability of critical materials and processes.
With the start of an order, the system will generate the material requirements, which are converted into orders to suppliers. The orders contain all the technical and logistical information that is necessary to exactly define the components or services, such as outsourced work, in order to satisfy the needs. Upon arrival of the goods at the factory, all these characteristics are then verified. The components are then identified, loaded into the system and made available for the internal production process.
The core of Exonsteel’s competitive ability lies within the choice to pay particular attention to the education and training of its workers who, thanks to a production factory that is perfectly adapted to the needs and a structure of continuous performance monitoring (visual factory), that is motivating for people, has succeeded in adopting a philosophy of continuous improvement. The production cycle is the classic type of refined medium-light structurework of stainless steel. It is complete and begins with the processing of steel products all the way to end with the surface finish.
